Reginald
Resident Spotlight
We are happy to present Caraton Commons Green Bay’s April Resident of the Month, Reginald! He enjoys the simple things in life. His favorite food is lasagna, and he also loves drinking coffee throughout the day. He has a wide taste in music and enjoys listening to both older songs and newer music. If he could have any superpower, it would be the ability to get out of his chair and walk or run wherever he wants. Being able to walk to Lutheran church would mean a lot to him. Spring is his favorite season because it brings warmer weather and the chance to watch plants and flowers begin to bloom.

He grew up in the Green Bay / Ashwaubenon area and has many good memories from there. Reginald comes from a large family with six siblings. One piece of advice he shares is to have a wonderful day, love one another, and care for each other. At Caraton Commons, he enjoys happy hour and snacks. He also appreciates being able to go outside when he wants.
Margarita
Employee Spotlight
We are happy to present Caraton Commons Green Bay’s April Staff of the Month, Margarita! Margarita has been working at Caraton Commons Green Bay for 7 months. She greatly enjoys her job because of the residents and the opportunity to cook and bake homemade meals for them. She grew up in Manila, Philippines, and is married to her husband. She has two siblings—a sister and a brother—who reside in the Philippines. While she does not have children of her own, she has three wonderful stepchildren and nine step-grandchildren.
Margarita chose to work in healthcare because she feels a strong purpose in caring for the elderly. Her mother often reminded her that caring for residents is like caring for her own mother, even from far away. In her free time, she enjoys gardening during the summer and visiting relatives and friends. Her advice to her coworkers is to always treat residents with respect and to remember that what you give will come back to you.
